The RBD Hydraulic Wedge Extractor uses hydraulic force to extract wedges from their respective gland assemblies. It is imperative that this task is completed when the gland is under zero load. Traditionally, wedges have been removed from glands by striking the gland assembly downwards. Unfortunately, this method results in unnecessary damage to the gland casing. The RBD Hydraulic Wedge Extractor allows for gland wedges to be removed in a controlled manner and without causing unnecessary damage to equipment.
